Melbourne’s No Order Market has just announced a series of five sensory workshops, set to take place every Sunday morning throughout July.

The events will be run by local creatives and practitioners as part of NOM’s community project No Social Order.

Each workshop is curated for a sensory ritual experience, covering ceramics, to life drawings, to crystal healings.

It’s described as “an intention of enhancing community culture.” So coming in with an open mind is probably a requisite.

The full schedule is as follows:

Ceramics with CCLAUDD
Sunday, July 2
9am to 11:30am

Suitable for beginners, this workshop will introduce basic techniques such as wedging and hand building with Claudia Lau of CCLAUDD ceramics. Participants will be guided in creating their own small vessel, which will be fired and returned as a finished piece.

Crystal Healing with Jasmine Fricker
Sunday, July 9
9am to 11:30am

Spiritual practitioner, Jasmine Fricker, will introduce participants to the practice of working with crystals and minerals, with the intention of gentle energetic healing. Each participant will be given a crystal to keep, and will have the opportunity for personalised guidance and suggestions.
