Playboy founder Hugh Hefner has died at 91

Hugh Hefner, founder of the Playboy empire, has died at the age of 91.
The news was announced via media release from Playboy Enterprises and read:
“Hugh M. Hefner, the American icon who in 1953 introduced the world to Playboy magazine and built the company into one of the most recognizable American global brands in history, peacefully passed away today from natural causes at his home, The Playboy Mansion, surrounded by loved ones. He was 91 years old.”
The very first issue of Playboy hit shelves in December 1953 and has since grown to an international publication, released in more than 20 countries globally, with the company bringing in $1 billion USD annually.
Hef is survived by his wife, Crystal and four children, Christie, David, Marston and Cooper.
