There’s a sanctuary offering sleepovers with real live sloths
Sleepover club.
It’s common knowledge that sloths are the Earth’s most adorable creatures.
They’re slow, peaceful animals that spend 15-18 hours a day sleeping, and that’s something I really respect.
So in delightful news, there’s a place in the US that is offering actual sleepovers with real live sloths.
It might sound a bit weird, but the sloth sanctuary promises to be a non-entertainment facility, with animals being its first priority.
On the website, it claims: “Guests will observe natural behaviours and interact with a colony of sloths during the activity bouts of their naturally most ‘active’ time of day.”
It also states guests can take a nap inside their “sloth ambassador colony habitats,” which is a fancy way of saying you can sleep in a tent.
For two adults to have their very own private sleepover with a sloth (and zoo staff member present) it’ll set you back a cool $1200US.
Look, we’re not sure how legit this all is, but if you’re keen to do a little research on your own, you can check it out here.
