Prince Charles has opened a bed and breakfast so you can live like a royal

Fit for royalty.

If you were excited about the royal baby news, then you might be keen to book a stay at Prince Charles’ new bed and breakfast.

Dubbed Granary Lodge, the accommodation is situated within the Castle of May grounds – an estate that once belonged to the Queen Mother.

Faced with a downturn in tourists visiting the castle, Prince Charles had a hand in initiating the opening of the newly renovated 10-bedroom bed and breakfast. With a comfortable drawing room, an open fire and views of the seaside, it’s fit for a royal.

Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee a stay in Granary Lodge will mean brushing shoulders with royalty, but the accommodation will be owned and operated by The Queen Elizabeth Castle of Mey Trust. All profits will go towards maintaining the estate as a tourist destination in the North Highlands of Scotland.

If that sounds like luxury to you, book a stay here.
