Growing up together.

It seems 2018 is a great year for TV reboots. Following new editions of ’90s faves like Sabrina The Teenage Witch and Charmed, Ann M. Martin’s classic series The Baby-Sitters Club will be coming back to our screens.

Currently being shopped out to networks, the 2018 BSC will present a modernised version of the most coveted books on the school library shelf. You can expect it to broach topics like racism, divorce and friendships.

Produced by Walden Media and Michael De Luca Productions, the half-an-hour eps will be directed by Broad City’s Lucia Aniello – so it’s safe you say your expectations should be high.

“We feel incredibly honored that Ann M. Martin has allowed us the chance to introduce the BSC to a new generation of future thought leaders and influencers,” said Walden Media’s senior vp development and production, Naia Cucukov.

As for when we’ll see a release, you’ll have to watch this space. In the meantime, refamiliarise yourself with the original show’s theme song below.
