Now taking bookings.

After it was first announced in 2017, MUJI’s first hotel in Japan is finally set to open its doors.

Joining existing Chinese branches – in Shenzhen and Beijing – the Ginza hotel continues the brand’s thoughtful minimal design, with small, wood-filled spaces boasting MUJI furniture and decor.

Guests can take their pick from nine suite types (A-I), spanning twin spaces with fancy bunk beds, to large open-plan rooms filled with reading nooks and wooden bathtubs. To keep you occupied while you stay, the hotel also boasts two art galleries, a library, lounge, salon, diner and MUJI flagship store.

The hotel houses 79 rooms, all of which were built with a focus on sustainability and feature recycled materials throughout. You can book your stay now, with doors opening on April 4.
