Doof sticks at the ready.

It’s a big day for the party people of Australia. Pitch Music & Arts, one of the most, if not the most talked about music festival of the summer season, has just dropped the lineup for its seventh annual event.

Running between March 8 and 12, 2024 in the foothills of the Grampians, Pitch is at the forefront of Australia’s house and techno scene. Bringing together massive displays of public art with an amalgamation of electronic music genres and soundscapes, the event offers four days of fun, freedom and camping under the stars.

If you’re the kind of person who has an endless stamina for dancing and likes their kick drums four to the floor, this is where you’ll want to be. For those who have been waiting all year for this moment, we won’t delay any longer.

Leading the Pitch 2024 lineup will be Italian acid techno duo 999999999, a live set by English producer and DJ Daniel Avery, longtime Pitch veteran Job Jobse, German DJ and Running Black label owner Gerd Janson, French techno producer I Hate Models, Danish techno-trance artist Mama Snake and resident Berghain DJ Marcel Dettmann.

Also set to bring the heat is Turkish-born, Berlin-based underground icon Nene H, Boiler Room royalty Patrick Mason, Polish-born and UK-based techno maximalist VTSS and the Bulgarian experimental dance and broken beat DJ KiNK (set to perform live). Joining them from our home soil will be the ever-popular X CLUB., our groovy house queen CC:DISCO! and lo-fi house producer DJ BORING.

Elsewhere on the lineup, find (in alphabetical order) Ahadadream, Akua, Anz, Aroha, Aurora Halal (live), Bailey Ibbs, Bambounou, Bertie, Bitter Babe, Cakes Da Killa (live), Chaos in the CBD, Chippy Nonstop, Chlär, Clara Cuvé, Cromby, dameeeela b2b DJ PGZ, Dan Shake, DJ Gigola, Gabrielle Kwarteng, Glass Beams, Hasvat Informant, Horse Meat Disco, jamesjamesjames b2b Willaris, Jennifer Loveless, JNETT, Kessler, Kia, KSMBA, LB aka LABAT, Mac Declos, Mark Blair, Matisa, MC Yallah & Debmaster (live), MCR-T, Memphis LK, Moopie, Narciss, Nite Fleit, ØTTA, priya, RONA., Sally C, SALOME, Sedef AdasÏ, Shampain, SHERELLE, Sophie McAlister, Special Request, Spray, Surusinghe, THC, TYGAPAW, X-Coast and Yikes.

Following a quickly sold-out 2023 event, Pitch tickets will be available by a simple ballot process. Those who enter the ballot must commit to a Pitch Pledge where they promise to make a positive contribution to the festival community, leave no trace behind and behave respectfully to those around them. The ballot is open now and is set to close on November 8, 2023 at noon.

To complement the impressive music lineup, Pitch will have architecturally designed stages, interactive arts activities and larger-than-life installations. While the arts program will be unveiled at a later date, in the past, the festival has worked with artists including Burning Man 2018 Best Art winner Clayton Blake and Kiss My Art art collective founder Aretha Brown.

To take a break from the action, punters can chill out at the Pitch Pavilion, a purpose-built sanctuary featuring tranquil activities including yoga sessions, sound baths and ambient meditations. The Pitch Precinct will be your hub among the campgrounds, a breather from the main action. A range of culinary offerings will also be on-site for those who need to fuel up, including vegan and vegetarian options.

For the 2024 event, Pitch is partnering with Seed, an Australian-first organisation building a movement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people in support of climate justice. $1 from each ticket sold will be donated to Seed.

Each year, Pitch brings together some of the most exciting contemporary electronic music acts for fans who are just as passionate. Crafting the perfect environment for self-expression, the festival welcomes patrons to release their inhibitions, boogie until they can’t feel their feet and create memories that’ll last a lifetime.
