In the world of local up-and-comers, 19-year-old Yergurl just dropped her new single, ‘Girls Like Me’.

The bedroom pop artist hails from Bendigo, and draws on her experiences as a rebellious teen in a rural landscape to create her dreamy tracks.

‘Girls Like Me’ is an almost hypnotic, self-assured bop about knowing your ex will never do better than you, no matter how hard they try.

As far as uplifting breakup songs go, it’s hard to beat shameless, taunting lyrics like these.
