Yergurl’s debut EP includes a synth cover of Hey Ya

Teen angst.

Off the back of her break-up bop ‘Girls Like Me’, the 19-year-old Bendigo native wowed the crowds at music industry event, Bigsound, in Brisbane last week.

And so the wunderkind continues, following the live success by dropping her debut EP, Love Bite.

Inspired by a mix of ’80s horrorcore films, Lana del Rey, and alt-rock, her dark synthy pop songs explore the intensity of adolescent emotion, the stranglehold of teenage turmoil, and the giddy headrush of rebellion.

Stream the album here, and watch the video clip for her single ‘Girls Like Me’ below.
