How it feels/smells/looks

I’m a pretty big believer in the power of the pink clay mask. Having tried and tested a few in the past, I was keen to give Alya’s version a spin. The formula is thinner and more cream-like than I was anticipating, which makes application a breeze. Once on, it’s hard not to be slightly overwhelmed by a fragrant rose scent, however. While the mask’s ingredient list is all-natural, the intensely sweet floral notes gave off the (very untrue) perception its formula was a little processed.

Why I like it

Fragrance aside, I was pleasantly surprised at the results this mask delivered. 10 minutes or so after washing off, my skin immediately looked clearer and brighter. My troublesome areas also looked much less red, and bumps were smoother. The results could still be seen several days after application, giving this product the tick from me.

Areas for improvement

I’d love to see the scent dialled down.
