New and noted.

I don’t know if it’s the moody weather in Melbourne lately or that Mercury’s been in retrograde – either way, I’ve been turning to comfort this month. I’m burning fancy candles, my bath is back in action and I’m reaching for cosier, gourmand scents.

It helps that we’ve been spoilt with new beauty releases in March. From sleep-inducing body care to advanced wearable skin tech, here are 10 of the latest launches we’ve personally tried and loved.

Maison Louis Marie No.15 Vanille Infinie

Maison Louis Marie has launched its first gourmand fragrance, No.15 Vanille Infinie and I have to say, it’s knocked my all-time favourite Replica vanilla scent off its pedestal. Think top-shelf French vanilla creaminess, balanced with oud and jasmine – perfect for lifting the spirits on a grey day.

Staying in the cosy realm, the new Cognac Reign EDP from D.S and Durga features caramelised bergamot, cognac, tonka bean and limousine oak and it smells as glamorous as it sounds. Made to be worn with a vintage fur jacket.

Autumn is the time to level up your body care routine, the skin needs TLC after all that sun and salt! Yes, it requires an extra few minutes in the bathroom (your housemates can deal with it) but the baby-seal-smoothness is worth it. Launching on March 31, this overnight body serum uses algae-derived bio-retinol and red seaweed to visibly smooth skin, while magnesium and lavender help send you to the land of nod.

ICYMI, shimmery Y2K lips are back in a big way. Except in 2026, we’ve moved on from drying, frosted lipsticks and now we have juicy metallic crayons that actually hydrate your lips. Pro tip: use it as a highlighter on your cheeks, too!

Shark CryoGlow Under-Eye Cooling + LED Face Mask

After reading a lot of hype, FJ’s Assistant Editor Daisy Henry finally got her hands on the new CryoGlow mask from Shark Beauty. With multiple targeted treatment settings and an added cooling function, it’s great news for anyone ready to commit to red light therapy, who also struggles with puffy under-eyes in the morning.

If the cool change has wrecked havoc on your skin barrier, a potent serum like this should make it happy again. Launching this month, Bon Elliot was created by Australian board-certified dermatologist, Dr Bonnie Fergie, and the brand’s first product is loaded with peptides, niacinamide, vitamin C and a bio-retinoid alternative that helps to balance the skin’s microbiome. We were lucky enough to try pre-launch samples for a few weeks and the whole FJ office is impressed, even the sensitive, eczema-prone girlies.

Enriched with magnesium, the Kit: Unwind Body Balm is designed to nourish and soothe tired limbs. I’ve started incorporating it into my nighttime routine and the herby lavender, eucalyptus scent tells my body it’s time to drift off.

I’m a firm believer in switching up your haircare regularly. The newest launch from O&M is a high-performance smoothing duo that gets to work on parched hair from the very first wash. Made with camelina oil, ceramides and shea butter, the Project Smooth (PS) shampoo has a creamy lather that nourishes as it cleans, while the conditioner smooths the cuticle for a glossy, frizz-free finish.

Summer Fridays Flushed Lip Stain

Sort of like a Texta for your lips, the new Summer Fridays lip stains have serious staying power. The tip is two-sided, so you can use the wider, fluffy side to swipe a sheer colour over the whole lip for a natural flush, or use the precise tip as a liner under another lip product. Once dried they’re transfer-proof, so feel free to kiss with abandon.

Uni Plush Marine Shower Oil

As a devoted bar-of-soap girl, I usually wouldn’t trust a shower oil to leave my skin feeling clean but this one delivers. It feels beautifully hydrating going on to dry skin (thanks to glycerine and kelp extract) then turns to a creamy lather when it hits water. Plus, the Ischia sunset scent is heavenly, like a beachside resort.
