How it feels/smells/looks

Sand & Sky’s highly anticipated second product has recently dropped, bringing with it the promise of smooth skin and oil absorption. Like its sister, this product features an Australian Pink Clay formula that’s thinner than the mask, making it easier to rub into the skin. While visible, the bamboo and macadamia seed doesn’t feel rough on the skin, as some face scrubs can.

Why I like it

The formula can be used as a standard face scrub (rub in, leave on, wash off), or just as a quick five-minute facial mask/spot treatment. It’s ideal for those moments when your skin needs a quick boost. My face feels tighter, and my complexion looks brighter after use. It also lands bonus points for being vegan, free of any nasty chemicals and made from Australian Botanicals.

Areas for improvement

Being quite acne prone, even the gentle nature of the scrub is a little harsh on my skin, though it does work wonders as a spot treatment on particularly dry areas. Sensitive areas look a bit red for a few hours after use but settle pretty quickly, giving excellent results. Just don’t use it immediately before leaving the house.
