Role Description
We are looking for a part time video content creator. In this role you—somone vibrant and thoughtful—will create, pitch, and produce ongoing social content series that invite our clients into our studio and deepen their understanding of our garments and practices. You would independently produce all content end-to-end: concept, shoot, edit, and delivery. This role functions in close conversation with our creative director.
We avoid producing content reflexively at high volume. While you must have a strong understanding of how content performs across Instagram and TikTok, you apply this knowledge with discretion in your decision making. We are not strongly driven by social performance metrics.
You would develop these videos in a visual signature consistent with our established identity, adjusting where required to really make sense in the short form video format. If you already have some idea of what that might look like, we’d like to hear from you.
This is a part time role working from our Melbourne city studio, 1 to 2 days per week. Salary is prorated. This is not an urgent hire, we’d prefer to wait for the most suitable candidate. Start date is highly flexible.
ABOUT YOU
- A portfolio of short-form video work with a clear sense of beauty.
- Fluency in Premiere Pro or After Effects; competency in both preferred.
- Practical experience operating a consumer-level camera, beyond the iPhone.
- Evidence of original thinking: series concepts you’ve developed, not just briefs you’ve executed.
- Strong intuition for how content performs across Instagram and TikTok, without being ‘data driven’.
- Comfortable working independently within a very small team.
- Reasonable understanding of the fashion industry and our ethos.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and pitching original content series concepts.
- End-to-end production of short-form video for Reels and TikTok.
- On-location and in-studio shooting – including selecting and directing talent.
- Editing and colour grading in Premiere Pro or After Effects.
- Sound design and music selection appropriate to the brand.
- Delivering to a publishing schedule across two platforms.
WHAT WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR
- Someone whose work consists primarily of trending audio and jump cuts.
- Someone who needs a large production infrastructure around them to produce good work.
- Someone who has not looked at the label before writing to us.
