Role Description

To showcase our story to our clients, community, and wider audience both in person and via social and traditional marketing we are looking for a talented Melbourne Based Content Creator and Social Media Manager, preferably with fitness, movement and lifestyle content creation experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Film, photograph and edit studio and event content for our various social media and digital channels – including Instagram Reels and photos, TikTok, YouTube and website videos.
- Work with our team of instructors and management team to create on brand, team, studio and customer orientated content that resonates with our audience on social media.
- Working within the Marketing Team, creating digital media content via the Canva platform to promote events, offers and initiatives across all channels
- Manage social media accounts Instagram, TikTok. Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest including DM management, looking for opportunities to improve customer service wait times and auto-messaging in this area
- Schedule and publish posts across all social media platforms, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding
- Ensure a creative direction with brand storytelling to drive traffic and engagement
- Monitor and review the performance of content across social channels
- Research and implement content trends that align with our brand.
- Be flexible to work weekends, evenings and off-site events and team gatherings.
- Travel interstate to capture content for local studio social channels on Instagram
KEY SKILLS
- You are a talented and creative photographer and videographer who produces outstanding video content and is skilled in movement and lifestyle photography
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a content creator with strong content editing skills and proficiency in using video and photography editing software (photoshop, lightroom) and in-app tools such as capcut
- Minimum of 1 year experience creating eye-catching Canva (or similar) graphic designs
- Have your own high quality filming/photography equipment
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and the type of content which performs well on each channel to help drive engagement and social growth
- Outside the box thinker; full of ideas to creatively share our story through content
- Strong attention to detail, understanding of our brand aesthetic and tone of voice, excellent time management skills.
- Excellent written communication skills, and ability to write creative and witty copy which effectively communicates our brand message and captivates our audience
- Can work in a fast paced environment, and manage multiple projects at once with time sensitive deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously, as well as a proactive member of the marketing team
- Great people skills, and enjoy meeting and interacting with others and meeting new people
