With strong sales across our eCommerce platform, flagship Byron Bay store, and expanding wholesale network, we’ve just launched a new Sydney store and are scaling fast. We’re now seeking a dynamic eCommerce and Digital Marketing Manager to support our next stage of growth.
The Marketing team plays a vital role in shaping and communicating Temple of the Sun’s brand across digital, retail, and wholesale channels. Through compelling campaigns, content creation, and strategic partnerships, the team drives customer engagement, brand visibility, and revenue growth.
The eCommerce & Digital Marketing Manager will execute a unified marketing strategy that strengthens brand presence and supports business growth across all channels. This role requires a blend of creativity, leadership, and digital expertise.
Working with a team of content creators, including a social media manager and customer support, the eCommerce & Digital Marketing Manager will deliver impactful, consistent marketing initiatives. Ultimately, they will be responsible for enhancing brand awareness, deepening customer engagement, and driving growth across the online platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute email marketing campaigns that drive revenue and engagement across our subscriber base
- Manage automated email sequences, including welcome series, abandoned cart recovery, post-purchase follow-ups, and win-back campaigns
- Segment audiences and personalise messaging to maximise conversion rates and customer lifetime value
- Monitor and optimise email performance metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, and revenue attribution
- Oversee day-to-day management of our Shopify eCommerce platform
- Implement conversion rate optimisation strategies to improve user experience and sales performance
- Manage product uploads, inventory updates, and site content
- Monitor website analytics and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement
- Coordinate with the development team on technical enhancements and new feature implementations
- Manage and optimise our Sun Lovers loyalty programme using Yotpo
- Develop strategies to increase programme engagement and member retention
- Create compelling rewards and experiences that align with brand values
- Monitor programme performance and implement improvements to drive repeat purchases
- Support paid digital advertising campaigns across Google, Facebook, and Instagram
- Collaborate on social media content strategy and community management
- Analyse campaign performance and provide recommendations for budget allocation
- Stay current with digital marketing trends and platform updates
- Maintain and grow digital revenue performance
- Prepare regular reports on channel performance, customer acquisition, and revenue attribution
- Identify growth opportunities and present strategic recommendations
- Monitor competitor activity and industry benchmarks
KEY SKILLS
- 5 years of experience in eCommerce and digital marketing, preferably within jewellery, fashion, or luxury consumer brands
- Proven experience with Shopify platform management and optimisation
- Advanced knowledge of Klaviyo email marketing platform
- Experience with Yotpo or similar loyalty programme platforms
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Analytics and eCommerce reporting
- Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth through digital channels
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to create compelling marketing copy
- Understanding of conversion rate optimisation principles and A/B testing methodologies
- Experience managing email databases
- Experience with paid advertising platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager)
- Knowledge of social media marketing and content creation
- Understanding of customer segmentation and lifecycle marketing
- Experience with team management and leadership
- Familiarity with subscription commerce models
- Knowledge of domestic and international luxury markets
