Role Description
This dual-role position supports both the production and design departments. The Junior Production Manager ensures products are manufactured and delivered on time, on budget, and to quality standards. As a Design Assistant, the role supports the creative team with research, technical files, and sample coordination.
Key Responsibilities
PRODUCTION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with planning and tracking production schedules and timelines.
- Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor quality control and perform inspections on incoming samples and stock.
- Coordinate delivery logistics, booking freight and tracking shipments.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, materials, and orders.
- Support costing and budgeting for product runs.
DESIGN ASSISTANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and update tech packs and production-ready files using Adobe Illustrator or similar software.
- Assist in trend research, mood boards, and fabric sourcing.
- Help coordinate sample requests, fittings, and product revisions.
- Organise and manage the design archive and digital file systems.
- Support photoshoots, lookbooks, and product listings when required.
