Role Description
Mamta Group is home to fast-paced, all-Australian brands including Runaway the Label and Seven Wonders.
We are excited to offer a rare opportunity for a dedicated Garment Technician and to join our dynamic design and production team, contributing to the impeccable fit of our garments.
Key Responsibilities
- Precisely interpret designer specifications and input measurements accordingly.
- Ensure the fits adhere to the standard sizing used across our brands.
- Communicate and collaborate with our factories in China on fit, quality, and finishes.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure each garment meets the highest quality standards.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate with our factories in China.
KEY SKILLS
- Meticulous attention to detail with an organized and methodical approach.
- Strong time management skills, speed is crucial in this fast paced environment.
- Negotiation skills, as you’ll be working with suppliers.
- Understanding cost structures is highly advantageous.
- Previous experience is necessary, ideally with min 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of garment construction.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Intermediate MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Ability to thrive in an autonomous, fast-paced environment.
