Role Description
This is a Head of eCommerce role suited to someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, creativity and operational detail. You’ll be responsible for leading our online growth, shaping the end-to-end digital experience and driving performance across all eCommerce channels.
Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you’ll guide the eCommerce strategy, oversee day-to-day trading, and ensure the brand shows up online in a way that feels thoughtful, cohesive and commercially effective. You’ll play a key role in campaign execution, product presentation, site optimisation and digital marketing collaboration, while also mentoring and growing your team.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead with Strategy & Vision: Own the end-to-end eCommerce strategy, working closely with leadership to set priorities, spot opportunities, and ensure the online experience evolves in line with brand goals and seasonal rhythms.
- Support Operational Excellence: Collaborate with logistics, inventory and tech teams to keep things running smoothly—from backend systems to customer delivery experiences.
- Manage Partners Thoughtfully: Lead relationships with external partners, including the agency managing our upcoming website upgrade, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on brand, and aligned with business goals.
- Let Data Tell the Story: Regularly report on key metrics, turning data into actionable insight and using these findings to fine-tune strategies and drive continuous improvement.
- Keep Product Beautifully Presented: Oversee how products show up across platforms, from copy and imagery to categorisation and merchandising, ensuring consistency and accuracy across every touchpoint.
- Work Cross-Functionally: Be the connective tissue across digital marketing, design, PR, logistics and CX—ensuring every campaign, launch and update feels cohesive and considered.
- Grow & Guide the Team: Lead and mentor junior team members, creating a culture of curiosity, initiative and high performance.
- Curate Moments That Convert: Own the eCommerce calendar, planning product launches, homepage refreshes and promotional activity in collaboration with creative, marketing and retail teams.
- Champion the Digital Experience: Ensure the online store feels intuitive, inspiring and easy to shop—optimising everything from navigation and search to mobile UX and personalisation.
- Drive Commercial Outcome: Keep a close eye on performance including sales, traffic, conversion, CAC and ROAS using these insights to shape actions that unlock growth in both local and international markets.
