Role Description

Based in our Alexandria studio, this full-time role is ideal for someone with experience in boutique production, artisan manufacturing or fulfilment for lifestyle or beauty brands. If you’re highly organised, proactive, and looking for a role you can truly make your own, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end candle and home fragrance production (pouring, labelling, curing, packaging)
- Maintain quality standards and ensure production targets are met
- Manage raw materials, reorder supplies and liaise with suppliers
- Pack and ship ecommerce and wholesale orders with care and accuracy
- Maintain stock levels, manage incoming deliveries and organise inventory
- Liaise with couriers to ensure timely dispatch
- Keep the production studio clean, organised and running smoothly
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Train and support casual team members during peak periods
- Coordinate stock transfers with our Newtown and Surry Hills retail stores
- Assist walk-in customers with product advice and purchases as needed
- Represent the Hunter Candles brand professionally and warmly in every interaction
KEY SKILLS
- Hands-on production experience in candles, fragrance, beauty, food or similar
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable standing for long hours and lifting boxes up to 20kg
- Confident working independently and as part of a small team
- Shopify and inventory management experience (ideal but not essential)
- Valid driver’s licence and full working rights in Australia
- Sydney-based and available for on-site, full-time work
