Key Responsibilities
- Define, design and implement a creative visual merchandising strategy
- Implement visual design plans and strategy to create appealing and eye-catching visual displays that lead the customer through entire store and drive sales and elevate customer experience.
- Producing window displays, signs, interior displays, floor plans and special promotions displays.
- Identify key messages and set a clear image of the end result
- Brainstorm, revise and present design ideas during the weekly meeting
- Monitor costs and work within budget
- Oversee the production and brief staff on arranging displays
- Change displays to promote new product launches and reflect festive or seasonal themes
- Liaise with suppliers
- Research lifestyle, demographics and design trends
- Analyse, report on and provide improvement initiatives to optimise efficiency.
KEY SKILLS
- Experience in visual merchandising in luxury fashion
- Commercial awareness of latest luxury fashion trends
- Well versed in mannequin dressing, product placement, colour blocking
- Strong organisation and exceptional communication skills
- Effective problem solving
- Ability to work independently and work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Self-motivated, adaptable and resourceful
- Possess initiative
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word Doc, Excel & Powerpoint
- Sound knowledge in Adobe Creative Suites (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) ideal
