Role Description
Yours Only is an Australian made, female founded skin and haircare brand for sensitive skin. The idea started off the back of Ashli Templer’s lifelong experience with skin and health conditions, where she couldn’t find anything on the market that suited her sensitive body, and also looked cute on her bathroom vanity.
Yours Only launched in August 2020 with two products, CLEAN and COAT, and now have a full multi-use range suitable for the whole family. Based in Richmond, Melbourne, days are spent making fun content, talking to community members and growing the brand through social presence.
In 2024 Yours Only launched into over 300 Priceline stores nationwide, in 2025 we landed in Chemist Warehouse in New Zealand, and are now looking to expand globally. There are big plans for the next 12 months, with an opening for the right person to join the team.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a highly analytical, detail-obsessed Paid Media Specialist to join our team full-time. This is not a “set and forget” ads role.
We want someone who will:
- Deeply understand our brand.
- Live inside the ad account.
- Obsess over what’s working, and continuously think of new ad ideas.
- Develop a deep understanding of our customer personas to brief relevant, targeted creative.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, launch, and manage paid campaigns across Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and TikTok Ads, covering prospecting and retargeting — with campaigns structured correctly for testing and scalable growth.
- Analyse ad account performance daily at campaign, ad set, and ad level — adjusting budgets, bids, and structures to continuously improve CPA and ROAS.
- Allocate and reallocate budget strategically based on performance data, making confident calls without needing sign-off on every move.
- Monitor creative fatigue, frequency, and account trends proactively — identifying issues before they show up in performance.
- Identify clear patterns across hooks, angles, formats, and audiences; highlight winning creatives and scaling opportunities; cut underperforming ads quickly and decisively.
- Brief the creative team with data-backed recommendations on what needs to be produced next — working with designers or UGC creators to keep fresh content in rotation.
- Run structured A/B tests and document learnings to build a compounding knowledge base over time.
- Deliver concise weekly reports focused on insights and next actions — not just numbers.
- Stay ahead of platform changes, algorithm updates, and emerging DTC ad trends, and bring new ideas to the table proactively.
- Collaborate on landing page and conversion rate feedback to ensure the full funnel is working hard.
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience with reporting tools like Triple Whale or Motion.
- Familiarity with Google Ads — particularly Performance Max or Shopping campaigns.
- Experience working within a fast-growing DTC brand (not just agency-side).
WHAT DOES OUR DREAM PERSON LOOK LIKE?
- 3+ years running paid social for eCommerce or DTC brands — either in-house or agency-side managing DTC clients.
- Deep, hands-on experience in Meta Ads Manager; solid working knowledge of TikTok Ads Manager. Google Ads experience is a bonus.
- Proven ability to manage significant ad spend profitably — you can show the results, not just talk about them.
- Knows how to read performance beyond ROAS: comfortable interpreting MER, CPM trends, frequency, thumb-stop rate, and what they actually mean for the business.
- Understands creative testing frameworks — how to structure tests properly, read results without noise, and use data to brief what gets made next.
- Strong grasp of pixel tracking, attribution, and audience architecture (Lookalikes, retargeting, exclusions).
- Extremely detail-oriented and comfortable making decisions independently — you spot problems before they become expensive.
- Strong creative instincts: you know a great hook, can identify a fatigued ad, and understand what stops the scroll.
- Clear communicator who can translate performance data into plain-English insights for a non-technical team.
