For a good cause.

You’ll soon be able to shop the wardrobe of one of fashion’s greats.

In memory of the late Franca Sozzani – the former editor-in-chief of Vogue Italia – YOOX is hosting a sale of her private designer collection.

According to WWD, 397 ready-to-wear and haute couture pieces will be on offer, as well as 190 accessories.

Proceeds from the sale will go towards the Franca Sozzani Fund for Preventive Genomics at Harvard University’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital – a fund set up in her memory to fight against deadly diseases.

The idea came about after Franca’s son, filmmaker Francesco Carrozzini, discussed the idea with his friend Federico Marchetti – the founder of YOOX.

The collection will include pieces from three decades of Sozzani’s life, presented through five categories: The Eclectic, The Black Tale, The Londoner, The Unconventional and The Dream Dimension.

It will be available to shop online from February 11.
