Converse and Golf Wang are back at it again, reinventing the Chuck 70

Classic Chuck, meet bold Golf Wang.

Converse has teamed up with Golf Wang to bring us another reinvention of the beloved Chuck 70. The shoe has traded in the typical, traditional canvas for a washed denim with rainbow polka dot overlays. 

The Chuck 70 is a shoe we all know and love, but Converse is not shy of reinvigorating the now 50-year-old style. In the last few months alone, we have seen collaborations with not only Golf Wang but Bugs Bunny, Haven and a release for Trans Awareness Week. 

Golf Wang was founded by musician Tyler, the Creator in 2011 and has since become known for its vibrant colours and reinvention of classic styles. This is not the pair’s first collaboration – the partnership began back in the summer of 2017.

Since then, Golf Wang has featured its designs yearly on Converse’s One Star, Chuck 70 and Gianno. This new collaboration draws inspiration from Golf Wang’s debut runway show back in 2016 which showcased Tyler’s flamboyant, eccentric style and featured the polka dot pattern that’s now found a home on the Converse x Golf Wang Chuck 70.   

The new collab is now available online, as well as in select Converse stores.
