Finally, we have a fashion lookbook celebrating male diversity
A Japanese label takes us another step forward.
With the fashion industry slowly trudging down the path of ‘all-inclusive’, it’s nice to see some brands sprinting to the finish line.
One such brand is WYATT, a Japan-based label taking a broader approach to basics. Designed by Tatsuya Togo, the SS17 season offers a genderless collection catering to all body types and ages.
The lookbook features fleece pullovers, pleated trousers, overcoats and tees, and perhaps more noteably, a plus size male model. The last time we saw male diversity celebrated in this way, it turned out to be an unfortunate April Fool’s joke.
Props to WYATT for taking the matter more seriously. More of this, please.
