A sensory overload with finesse.
Cult favourite Kenzo, has dropped its range for Pre-Fall 2015 and with it there is just so. much. to say.
Colour-block layering, bold repetition, ultra cropping, excessive volume and childlike pops of colour spring immediately to the forefront of this emphatically loud collection.
But moving beyond the distractions of neon-orange furs and pattern-printed suits, there lies a certain mastery. What seems at first to be a hot mess, is acutely deliberate; an abundance of volume sits perfectly tailored, while boxy silhouettes are hemmed to flatter.
It’s a sensory overload with finesse and utterly, utterly Kenzo.
