KENZO x Toilet Paper SS15 campaign PLUS GIF
A campaign of tiger-sweatshirt proportions.
KENZO has teamed up with Toilet Paper magazine for the release of its latest campaign.
A metropolitan utopia lays behind the new men’s and womenswear looks, the shoot a collaborative effort between KENZO Creative Directors Carol Lim and Humberto Leon and Toilet Paper creatives Maurizio Cattelan, photographer Pierpaolo Ferrari and art director Micol Talso.
This isn’t the first time KENZO and Toilet Paper have worked together on a campaign shoot (first for Autumn/Winter ’14), and we sure hope it won’t be the last.
Always one to push the envelope for what is new and modern in fashion, the label delivers a juxtaposition of classic silhuoettes and new fabric technology. Laser-cut shapes are sliced from crisp cotton, laid against ruffles in the womenswear look. For menswear, ’50s-style trousers are pulled into the future, with shining zips sewn along the pant legs.
The new styles bring promise of a street style takeover of tiger-sweatshirt proportions.
