Issey Miyake gets graphic using Satoshi Fujiwara’s photography on shirts and bags

Grotesque beauty.

Internationally renowned designer Issey Miyake is no stranger to innovative design. Miyake has been knocking out exciting designs since the ’70s.

For his latest line, he has turned to Japanese-born, Berlin-based photographer Satoshi Fujiwara, to create a series of portraits around which the collection centres.

This drop is the first instalment of Miyake’s Photographer Collaboration Project which will see the designer work with multiple photographers for his runway collections.

The Fall/Winter 2015 line has captured people travelling, documented by Fujiwara’s journey on the Berlin Metro from six in the morning to eight at night for several months.
