Nixon releases watches made from rockstars’ leather pants, guitar straps, boots, more
Wear a little Van Halen on your wrist.
You can now wear Keith Richards on your wrist. Well technically not Keith Richards, but you can at least wear a part of the pants that he rocked out in.
How is that even possible? Well, Nixon has joined forces with some of the world’s most legendary rockstars, Ozzie Osbourne, Keith Richards, Pete Townshend, Tom Waits, Eddie Van Halen, Steven Tyler and Ringo Starr, to bring you some legendary watches.
Enter the Rock LTD Collection.
The artists have donated their old leather jackets, guitar straps, boots and leather pants to be reinvigorated into watch bands.
With hand-numbered, custom-etched case backs with the name of the donor artist, watches will range from $1,000 to $4,000. Pocket change really.
The collaboration is to benefit the MusiCares MAP Fund and watches will be sold in select retailers like Barneys and Selfridges as well as in Nixon stores in London and Paris starting mid-November.
