UNIQLO is ditching seams in its new collection
Seamless.
The team over at UNIQLO are always looking for different ways to approach fashion. This time ’round, they’re opting for a one-cut technique in their FW17 range.
This means select items from the brand’s UNIQLO-U collection are made from one whole piece of fabric, in an approach UNIQLO has dubbed ‘3D U-Knit’.
It’s allowed the brand to ditch seams on the items that have employed the new technique, which spans knitwear, a number of dresses, a sweater and a skirt. So far.
Also debuting as part of the UNIQLO U collection are a number of men’s and women’s seamless track jackets, which stand up well to the wind, because, y’know, no seams.
You can expect the *new and improved* seamless range up alongside regular core UNIQLO basics, including dresses, coats, jackets and more.
The collection will drop in-store and online Australia-wide from October 12.
