This label is making clothing that grows with your child

One garment is made to fit a child from 4 months to 36 months.
Most children grow seven sizes in their first two years of life. That’s a whole lot of expense for parents and a significant amount of clothing that ends up in landfill or discarded. This inspired UK engineer and designer Ryan Yasin to create a fabric that grows as kids do.
Combining his passions for design and sustainability, he launched Petit Pli, a one-size-fits-all approach to children’s clothing.
The brand’s garments are constructed in an origami-style pleated design, allowing them to expand as your child grows. When stretched, the unique fabrication becomes thicker perpendicular to the applied force. In simple terms, this means it can extend in different directions – both lengthwise and widthwise to accommodate up to 7 sizes (4 months to 36 months).
Garments are machine washable, durable, rain and windproof. The line currently only includes outerwear, with plans to expand into other styles.
