A mix of designers, editors and fashion buyers.
The judging panel for the 2019 International Woolmark Prize has just been announced, and it’s a pretty impressive lineup.
The prize celebrates emerging fashion designers from around the globe, narrowing them down to a list of 12 finalists. Ultimately, one menswear and womenswear winner will receive $200,000 to help kickstart their business. Another Innovation Award, rewarding the most experimental and creative wool designs, grants a cash prize of $100,000.
A team of industry experts have been handpicked to select these winners, including the likes of Tim Blanks (Editor-at-Large, Business of Fashion) and Sara Sozzani Maino (Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Vogue Italia).
