Boo-uis Vuitton.

In a move that has given us ’80s horror-induced goosebumps, creative director of Louis Vuitton Nicholas Ghesquière unveiled the brand’s nostalgic Pre-Fall 20 campaign.

The campaign features a series of famously spooky actors including Emma Roberts, Chloe Grace Mortez, and Sophie Turner. Each shot mimics an old school horror movie poster, complete with a distinct fashion twist.

Based on a dream she had about meeting a talking tiger, singer Robyn poses in a sequined top and leather skirt as two purple claws touch each of her shoulders. Actress Sophie Turner plays the rich haunted mansion owner in a perfectly tailored white suit paired with a red turtleneck and moon boots. In a world of pastel, duo Billie Lourd and Cody Fern pose together holding a baby LV bag whilst dressed in preppy knits, ’80s bombers, and little running shorts.

The collection emerged after William Peter Blatty, author of The Exorcist, gave permission for the brand to print the cover of his novel on a series of graphic tees. In a statement, Louis Vuitton said: “Fashion is a novel and the Pre-Fall 2020 collection embarks on a narrative journey where the garments tell their own tale”.

All these rich colours, strong graphics and killer outfits (no pun intended) have us wishing we were about to see a real Louis Vuitton horror movie.
