Kicking off its 2019-2020 world premier tour, Moncler has collaborated with Valentino designer Pierpaolo Piccioli to produce the 1 Moncler Pierpaolo Piccioli Genius project. Piccioli has taken Moncler’s famous puffer outerwear to create a series of floor-length dresses and skirts.

Taking inspiration from model Liya Kebede’s brand Lemlem, Piccioli aimed to reflect Ethiopian culture and utilise African patterns and textiles. While the collection features a series of slightly Renaissance, slightly street-style dresses, only the Gabrielle, Evelyn and Anna puffer jackets will be available for purchase.

The collection is one of the first of the Moncler genius series. The brand is set to collaborate with a new designer every month as well as creating a series of Moncler events in different cities. The brand aims to showcase the artistic genius found in every city.

Piccioli’s series is available for purchase in store and online now.
