And then there were nine.
The finalists have been announced for this year’s LVMH Prize for Young Designers, with nine hopefuls remaining in the running.
The annual prize, which aims to support up-and-coming designers, attracted over 1,300 applicants from more than 90 countries.
Winners each year receive a grant of €300,000, plus the support of a 12-month mentorship program.
20 designers were shortlisted, and now the final nine will face judgement by the creative directors of nine LVMH houses. We’re talking Dior, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs and more.
The winner will be announced on June 6, but for now you can check out the full list of finalists below.
