UNIQLO and Marimekko is coming very soon

The team at UNIQLO must have good taste because the Japanese cult apparel company has announced it is, once again, collaborating with Finnish design house, Marimekko.
Including offerings across both women’s and childrenswear, the line features classic UNIQLO silhouettes and incorporates bold prints and colours, in true Marimekko style.
The collection includes several new items as well, each designed specifically to showcase some of Marimekko’s most iconic prints such as Kivet (stones), Tasaraita (even stripe) and Siirtolapuutarha (city garden). The prints are featured across the retailer’s signature technical fabrics including cashmere, Ultra Light Down and Heat Tech.
Prices are readily accessible, too. Merino blended sweaters started at $59.90, while the line’s puffer jackets and cashmere hoodies can be picked up for $89.90. For those of us about to enter summer, it also encompasses A-line shifts, cotton jumpsuits and tees.
“Together with UNIQLO we have been able to create something truly special for our customers and can’t wait to see this new line bring joy to people’s daily lives around the world,” said President and CEO of Marimekko, Tiina Alahuhta-Kasko, of the new collection.
Marimekko x UNIQLO is set to launch on Thursday November 28, though you can already browse the collection here. As with many of the retailer’s collaborations, there are high expectations for the products to sell out quickly. It’s one to save the date for.
