Attention all students: Collarts has just launched a Fashion Marketing degree.

This is a big deal for a number of reasons.

First of all, it’s the college’s first major degree in a fashion field, meaning you can be one of the first student cohorts to graduate with this sparkling new qualification.

Second, it’s led by Dr Rachel Matthews, previous head of the Melbourne School of Fashion, lecturer at RMIT and critically-acclaimed author, among many other accolades.

As for the degree, students can look forward to mentorship from industry experts, hands-on experience and lessons in the areas of fashion styling, event management, marketing and business.

So if you dream of a career in fashion as a brand manager, visual merchandiser, buyer, stylist or creative director, get your application ready.

All it’ll take is two years, with the Bachelor of Applied Business (Fashion Marketing) now taking applications for 2018.
