LEGO is dropping an all-new 6,000-piece Hogwarts Castle

Wicked.

Following news that LEGO is dropping an all-new Great Hall set next month, the brand has announced it’s adding an even bigger release to its Harry Potter archive.

Behold, a 6,000-piece Hogwarts Castle. And not just any old castle replica either. This highly detailed collectable is packed with references from the series – ranging from iconic rooms, characters, creatures and more.

Expect to build the Chamber of Secrets complete with Basilisk, the chessboard chamber from The Philosopher’s Stone, the Gryffindor common room and even Professor Umbridge’s notably pink study.

Of course, there are also 27 characters to go with the castle, including all the usual suspects along with Bellatrix Lestrange, Professor Lupin, Voldemort, Aragog and five dementors.

Such an excellent set doesn’t come cheap though. The Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle retails for $649.99, and is due to launch September 1.
