BU the Label creates silk pieces you’ll never want to take off

Your new favourite label.

If you favour quality over quantity when it comes to your wardrobe, BU the Label should be high on your shopping list.

The Sydney-based brand was launched in 2017 and produces handmade collections with minimal waste. It uses all-natural fibres like 100 per cent silk and linen to create a range of wardrobe staples in super limited runs.

From an ethical standpoint, each piece is handcrafted in India by tailors who are paid a fair wage. Not only that, BU also supports local fabric suppliers throughout the manufacturing process.

It’s all in a bid to champion the slow fashion movement, and create a line of easy-wearing pieces while doing so.
