To celebrate the homewares giant’s new mini concept stores.
If news of mini IKEA stores wasn’t exciting enough, the company is now getting very creative with its advertising techniques.
IKEA has taken over a subway station in Paris to celebrate the opening of one of these tiny concept stores in France.
The Metro station closest to the new La Madeleine location is now home to a special kind of showroom, featuring over 1,500 IKEA products.
Everything from chairs to curtains to small décor pieces is on display, complete with names and prices in case you get inspired to go shopping.
If you happen to be in Paris, it’s worth checking the installation out. Otherwise, you can hit up the Warringah Mall mini store now, or keep an eye out for more Aussie locations on their way.
