He just fits.

The internet is a very clever place, and somebody figured out a while ago that pop culture and classical art are a match made in heaven.

Particularly when it comes to pretty-faced heartthrobs like Timothée Chalamet.

We’ve seen the Call Me By Your Name star and his co-workers edited into Monet’s masterpieces. But now someone has taken it a step further and turned Chalamet himself into a regular renaissance man.

Instagram account @chalametinart has taken on the very important task of photoshopping the actor’s face onto old artworks.

Sometimes, that means splicing his head onto the body of a shirtless fruit-bearer or well-dressed nobleman. Other times he’s photoshopped – Golden Globes harness and all – into someone else’s portrait.

Either way, it’s borderline scary how well Chalamet’s delicate features and tousled curls fit into the worlds of artists like da Vinci, Caravaggio and Vermeer.
