Michelle Obama is launching an IGTV show and we are so in

Sky’s the limit.

There isn’t enough that is soothing and feel-good in this world. That’s why nature gifted us the Obamas.

Titled A Year of Firsts, Michelle’s six-part series will follow four American college students who are each the first in their families to attend college. Despite its American context and the difference between the tertiary education system in the US and Australia, the show promises to give us hope about the state of the world.

The series will be made in conjunction with Reach Higher, an initiative she founded during her time as First Lady that encourages people to pursue higher education no matter their background.

The series will air on IGTV in mid-January.

Tales of underdog triumph feels like exactly what we need right now.
