This exhibition is shining a light on Melbourne’s homeless community

Streetview.

If you plan on going to an exhibition any time soon, consider visiting one as important as this.

The HoMie StreetView exhibition aims to explore the often unspoken world of our homeless community. 7 Melburnians currently experiencing homelessness were asked to capture their life on the street via disposable cameras.

The photographs have been turned into a public art exhibition, which will be held at Collingwood’s Besser Space during September.

Each photograph on display is also up for sale, with 100% of the sale price donated to the artist via St Mary’s House of Welcome.

Entry is just a gold coin donation and will include wine from Vinomofo and food by Hunky Dory.
