Sheridan will now recycle your old linen into brand new products

Words by Maeve Kerr-Crowley

Keep your linen out of landfill.

The world has gone donation crazy after enthusiastically adopting Marie Kondo’s love it or lose it philosophy.

While recycling is never a bad thing, it helps to stop and think about where your things are going after you decide they don’t spark joy.

So, to avoid textile waste ending up in landfill, Sheridan has started a new in-store recycling initiative.

After cleansing your home, you’ll be able to take unwanted sheets, towels and quilt covers from any brand into a Sheridan store. Your linen will then be recycled and turned into new products, which will be sold later this year.

We know helping the environment is incentive enough. But, as a bonus, Sheridan is also giving anybody who participates in the program 10 per cent off their next in-store purchase.

The initiative will run from February 20 to March 20, with plans to roll out a larger program later in the year.
