The Jungle Giants announce new music and a national tour

Words by Tess Macallan

A fresh sound.

The Brisbane natives have come a long way since they broke the indie scene in 2011. Early tracks such as Mr Polite and All The Wrong Places possesses contagious energy that has characterised the band’s successes since.

The Jungle Giants have sold out two national tours, played a myriad of festivals, and most recently played sold-out international shows across the US, UK and Europe. Now back on home soil they’ve released a new track and announced a huge national tour.

The single – Heavy Hearted – is written, produced, and engineered by lead singer, songwriter, and guitarist Sam Hales. The new track combines the band’s characteristic energy with a deep sparkle of electronic beats.

The song is a good indication of the dance-floor vibes they’ll be bringing to their live performances at venues across the country, from the Forum in Melbourne to Big Top in Sydney.

Pre-sale tickets are available now. General tickets on sale July 10.
