Miami Horror announce new album and release summery single

Summer soundtrack sorted.

Melbourne electronic band, Miami Horror, have started summer early with their new track ‘Luv Is Not Enough’ and announced a brand new album at the same time.

Full of dreamy guitar chords, a funk-inspired beat, and the crisp vocals of Canadian artist, Clear Mortifee, the single is a new sound for the band.

The group has cited influential contemporary artists like The Internet, Kaytranada, and Anderson .Paak as inspiration for its new soul sound, but the brains behind other classic summer hits like ‘Sometimes’ and ‘Holidays’ have still kept the fun, electro-pop roots that fans have come to know.

Feeling uninspired by the music world after releasing their sophomore album, Illumination, it wasn’t until the band’s producer and bass-player, Benjamin Plant heard Calvin Harris’ ‘Slide’ back in 2017 that they decided to start creating again.

The album is set to be released in late 2020, this single is a peek at what’s to come for the band, and will have to be added to our summer playlists, stat.
