New age flower-children, Babe Rainbow, release new album
Words by Ruby Staley
“If you love waterfalls, if you love flying”, then this one’s for you.
All the way from a macadamia plantation in the hinterlands of Byron, comes the newest album from the infectiously upbeat blond quartet, the Babe Rainbow.
The accompanying video, directed by long-time collaborator Kristofski, stitches together moments from the groups travels from Malibu to Montpellier and Montauk.
It’s a celebration of their time together, creative collaboration and love for “everything”.
Produced by Babe Rainbow’s own Luca Mariani and Sam Joseph from the Flightless and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Today contains the same contagious optimism we’re used to from the group but this time in a more mature and sophisticated way.
