jade imagine announces first Australian album tour

Words by Ruby Staley

It won’t be one to miss.

After releasing their highly-anticipated debut LP Basic Love Melbourne’s own jade imagine has captured the public’s attention. The album lives up to, if not exceeds, all expectations.

A familiar exploration of the artistic conundrum, the simple versus the abstract, Basic Love blends playful Australian pop guitar and vocal tones with elements of psych-synth.

The debut LP wonderfully exhibits jade imagine’s signature bleak-pop style with nods to contemporary electronic music and traditional rock tropes.

After scoring Album of the Week on Triple R, and Radio Adelaide Feature Album, the acoustic low-fi group are gearing up for a national tour.

Recently wrapping up their debut tour in New Zealand, including a spot in the coveted Flying In’s The Others Way festival, the group are prepping to support Australian singer Stella Donnelly on her massive national tour.

As if this isn’t enough, jade imagine will be touring their own album in November, appearing in Sydney, Brisbane, Hobart and their hometown Melbourne.

Find tickets to the Basic Love tour online, or catch them at one of Stella Donnelly’s shows around the country.
