Vampire Weekend previews new music for the first time in five years

Long time coming.
We’ve been waiting a long time for new Vampire Weekend. Five years to be exact.
And now, it seems the wait is almost over, with the band teasing a new song (reportedly titled ‘Flower Moon’) at their comeback show over the weekend.
The show, which took place at Libbey Bowl in California, was Vampire Weekend’s first full show in four years. The new track features Steve Lacy from The Internet, and is looking promising if the below preview is anything to go by.
Recent reports have also claimed that frontman Ezra Koenig said the album is ‘97.3% complete’, so here’s hoping it’s finished by Splendour.
