Role Description
We are on the hunt for our next retail super star to join our Alpha60 Newtown team as the Assistant Store Manager.
In this position you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in all aspects of the day-to-day operations including inventory management, providing excellent customer service and on-going training support for our team.This is a customer facing role, so the ideal candidate must be someone who loves to be on the shop floor, nurtures our wonderful customer base & provides exceptional customer service. We pride ourselves on having an excellent work place culture and are looking for a leader to help guide, support and grow our Sydney flagship team.
This is an entry level management position so experience is preferred but not essential.
This would be a full time role, on a Sunday – Thursday roster.

Key Responsibilities
Below are some of, but not limited to the key responsibilities for this role:
- Manage the daily operations of the store, including overseeing inventory, sales, and customer service
- Help to train and coach a team of retail staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Maintain a clean and organised store environment
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and the local community
- Inspire & lead a team of like minded individuals creating a fun work environment.
- Be able to give feedback to team members and performance manage areas of growth.
- Use your initiative and be an ambassador for our brand.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proven track record of driving sales and meeting targets
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
