Role Description
BY JOHNNY is seeking an experienced Product Developer with a strong background in women’s contemporary fashion and occasion-wear to join our growing team. Working closely with our Creative Director and Production Manager, you’ll play a key role in bringing collections to life across BY JOHNNY, THE SERVICE CLUB and DOUCETTE.
This is a full-time, in-house position based at our Head Office in St Peters, NSW.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves technical product development, has exceptional attention to detail and enjoys working in a creative, fast-paced environment with a highly collaborative team. Please note: this is a product development role, not a design role.
We’re looking for someone with:
- 3+ years’ experience in Product Development, Technical Design or Design Development
- Strong technical garment knowledge, particularly within women’s contemporary fashion and occasion-wear
- Experience working with offshore suppliers and manufacturers
- Advanced Adobe Illustrator skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- A collaborative, proactive approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

- Product development from concept to approval
- Tech packs, specifications and fit sessions
- Supplier communication and sample management
- CADs, colour-ups and artwork development
- Trend research and fabric sourcing
- Supporting the growth of BY JOHNNY, THE SERVICE CLUB and DOUCETTE
